Catherine

My name is Catherine Guarini, I am a product photographer specializing in commercial food photography. I am currently based out of Toronto, Canada, yet have a passion for travel and experiencing new adventures.  

My passion for photography started at the age of seven when I was gifted my first film camera. Eight years later, I purchased my first DSLR and knew that photography was something I wanted to pursue. I attended the Creative Photography program at Humber College, where I excelled in commercial photography. As my passion grew so did my knowledge and skills which lead me to be awarded a scholarship, win an award for one of my images, and bring home gold at Skills Ontario. To this day, I work closely with Humber College mentoring students and organizing workshops that will set students up for success in and out of the classroom. 

After graduation, I began working at a commercial studio that specializes in food photography. I quickly worked my way to studio manager, while still assisting and leading my own shoots. I was able to work closely with prop and food stylists, as well as art directors, allowing me to build a diverse and unique skill set.

Currently, I am working as a freelance photographer looking to collaborate with creative and passionate companies. Together, we can produce high-quality images that speak to your brand.
